Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I return unused medication?

A: If the medication is in the original manufacturer packaging and is still sealed, yes. However, anything that has been opened and/or is not in original manufacturer packaging (i.e. in a pill jar from the clinic), cannot be returned.

Q: How do I prepare for surgery?

A:

  • Ask our clinic for an estimate of the surgery ahead of time if necessary to budget/save.

  • Ask the veterinary assistant or veterinarian any questions you have at the time of scheduling.

  • Do not bathe your pet the day before or the day of surgery.

  • Set up an area in your home for your pet to recover. The area should be warm, dry, clean, and quiet.

  • Do not feed your pet for 3-4 hours prior to surgery. The pet can have as much water as they desire.

  • Follow any other instructions the clinic staff has given you for your pet's specific surgery.

Q: What should I expect after surgery?

A:

  • Your pet may be groggy, agitated, or aggressive after anesthesia.

  • Your pet may sleep more than normal for the first 18-24 hours after surgery.

Q: How do I prepare for my pet's appointment?

A:
